If you’ve ever interacted with a Taurus type you’ve probably noticed they are quite stubborn. This stubbornness can be observed in their relationships, in their career, and pretty much anywhere a Taurus might encounter differing points of view. As far as they’re concerned, they’re right about everything and don’t want to hear your point of view. The normally sweet, calm Taurus can become quite the bully when they have a belief that differs from someone else’s.
I know people who have ended relationships with their Taurus partner over stubbornness (which looks like selfishness when it’s too extreme). In my own dealings with Taurus types, I’ve found that if you want them to go along with something you have to present it to them as if it were their idea. Is this a bit manipulative? Perhaps, but it’s better than letting a Taurus get their way every. single. time., isn’t it?
Along with this stubbornness comes a resistance to change and a refusal to pull themselves out of the rut they are in. Tauruses can get very comfortable in their discontentment and lack the motivation that is needed to make positive changes in their life.
Another trait Taurus types are known for is laziness – although it’s not always laziness, per se, as much as it is a love of comfort. Nobody knows how to relax like a Taurus, but Tauruses also work hard and have tons of perseverance. They’ll put all their energy into their work or a project they’re interested in and won’t stop until they get the desired results. So, it’s a mixture of hard-work and knowing how to relax when there’s downtime – is that such a bad thing, really? As someone with strong Taurus traits, I can attest to the occasional laziness, but once I commit myself to something, I am relentless and won’t give up until I’ve achieved the desired result. I’ve also been known to be a workaholic, working 60+ hours per week.
Let’s talk about Taurus’ possessiveness. Tauruses are known for being possessive to the point where they treat people like objects and act like they own them. They’re possessive with their belongings, too. If you take something that belongs to them, you’ll experience their wrath.
What is your experience with Taurus types?
Note: when I refer to “Taurus types” what I mean by that is someone who has prominent Taurus in their chart. So someone who has a Taurus Sun and Rising, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars in Taurus would be considered a Taurus type. This can also refer to someone who is not a Taurus Sun sign, but has Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Taurus, or Taurus Rising and Moon, for example.
