One thing I’ve always found annoying when it comes to astrology is the fact that Scorpio is regarded as the hottest lover in the zodiac. I am here to tell you that is not the case. If anything, that label should go to Taurus. Is Scorpio passionate? Yes. Do they have a high sex drive, also yes. But Taurus is passionate and has a high sex drive, too. It’s a different type of passion, though. Scorpio’s passion is explosive and self-serving. Taurus’ passion is steady, earthy, sensual, erotic, and long-lasting. 

When you have sex with a Taurus, it’s pretty much guaranteed both people will leave feeling satisfied. Tauruses aim to please, after all. With a Scorpio, you can be certain they’ll get off, but once that burst of passion disappears, they’re done. Although some people may prefer the animalistic side of Scorpio, Taurus is just more sensual, giving, and present in their encounters.

Scorpio definitely has a dark side so they’re more likely to be into rough stuff (choking, hair-pulling, BDSM etc.) so If that floats your boat then you may prefer Scorpio’s style. Taurus can be rough and a little animalistic, too, they just have more finesse about it. And don’t forget – Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, so there’s a sensuous, loving quality to a Taurus’ lovemaking.

I’ve been with Taurus and Scorpio types, and my encounters with Scorpios were lackluster at best; sure, they were eager and a little naughty, but they were also selfish. The Taurus lovers I’ve had were very, very… effective. Anyway, I’m sure all the Scorpios reading this are quite angry with me right now for calling them out, but I’m just describing my experience with Scorpio vs. Taurus.

Note: When I refer to Scorpio and Taurus in this context, ideally it’s someone with their Sun sign and one or more of the following: Moon, Venus, or Mars in Scorpio or Taurus, respectively. Having the Sun alone in Scorpio or Taurus would not have much of an impact on sexuality since it’s the Moon, Venus, and Mars that rule emotions and sexuality.
